We receive no public funding for the running of the Phoenix Community Centre, which has to be covered by the income received from users of the Centre.  And when it comes to renewing and improving the facilities, we depend heavily on fundraising and donations.

One of the ways we raise funds is by holding community events at the Centre, as well as raising money for improving the facilities, these events are widely enjoyed by the many local people who attend and participate.

We use a variety of other activities to build up funds for improving the building and equipment such as our 300 club.

We also invite cash donations from companies, clubs and individuals - for example, to sponsor a cask of cider at our Cider Festival, or to contribute towards new improvement projects.

Please get in touch:

  • If you would like to get involved in fundraising activities for the Community Centre
  • if you are interested in making a donation to the Community Centre, whether it's money, materials or skills
